Privacy

Your data, in plain language.

This site collects very little, and nothing without a reason. Here is exactly what happens with your information, written the way I would want it explained to me. Last updated July 2026.

Who is responsible

Studio Squalli is run by Ahmed Squalli in Montréal, Quebec, Canada. He is the person responsible for the protection of personal information on this site. For anything in this policy, write to contact@studiosqualli.com.

What the forms collect

When you send a message or request an audit, the form asks for your name, your email address, your message, and for audits the address of your website. I use this to reply to you and for nothing else. No newsletter you did not ask for, no list you get added to.

Form submissions are delivered by Formspree, a form service, which processes them on my behalf. Your message arrives in my inbox and stays there like any correspondence. If you want it deleted, ask and I will delete it.

Analytics, only if you accept

The site uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. It loads only after you press Accept on the cookie banner. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, nothing loads and no analytics cookie is set. The site works exactly the same either way.

When analytics is on, IP addresses are anonymized. I use the numbers to see what is useful on the site, not to identify anyone.

What the site remembers in your browser

Two small preferences are stored in your own browser, not on any server: your cookie choice, so the banner does not ask again, and your language choice, so the site does not keep offering to switch. Neither identifies you and both disappear if you clear your browser data.

What never happens

Your information is never sold, rented or shared for marketing. There is no advertising on this site and no third-party tracking beyond the consent-gated analytics described above.

Your rights

You can ask what information I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. This applies under Quebec's privacy law (Law 25) and under the GDPR if you write from Europe. One email to contact@studiosqualli.com is enough, and I reply within one business day.

Changes

If the way the site handles data changes, this page changes with it, with the date at the top updated. No silent edits.
